Hello, my name is Roxana and I ´m a 17 years old girl, who lives in Germany. At the moment I’m in grade 11, I tried to do my best for a good A-Level, because I want to study psychology. For now I cosplay since summer 2009, being also two and a half years. My very first Costume was a Hinata Hyuga Cosplay. In cosplay I find a way to present me and my skills. All my Cosplays are selfmade, the wigs are styled with much love for each character and the make up is one of the thinks I like do to most. I have a weakness for big Cosplayweapons! I like to create and present them.

Roxana HĂźnnekens’s Naruto Cosplay – Don’t be Hesitant to Applaud!
1. Character: Karin
Comment: I love this scene of Karin in the Naruto Manga. In this chapter it comes out why she´s in love with Sasuke. She loves him whit heart and soul and not about how he´s looking like all the other girls. Furthermore it shows you how Sasuke changed since he leaves Konoha. I have to cry the whole chapter. When I wear this cosplay I had a lot of fun. It means much to me.
Comment: I do this cosplay because of the 6th Shippuuden Ending. The lyrics and the sound of the song reminds me about the old Team 7 times with old Sasuke. Also my Naruto likes this Ending too, we do Cosplayvideo based of the Ending. Check it here:
Comment: Like I say below this was my very first Cosplay and I love it since those 2 years. Once when I watched Naruto the first time, when Hinata fights against Neji I walked up to my wardrobe and choose something that fits Hinatas clothes very well and changed some things. On my first Convention I wear it and was so surprised, when someone asked me for a photo.
Comment: Once again a Scene from the Naruto Manga I really love. The Chapter shows the truth of the Uchihaclan and Itachi, one of my favourite Character, too. I never seen such a strong relationship about siblings. Furthermore is this Flashback the saddest one I´ve ever seen. I must say I cried a lot because of Itachis last sentence he says with a smile, his death and Sasukes true tears. I want it so much to do this picture and had the chance on my holyday trip to Mallorca.
Comment: Another Version of Sasuke. I like it when he appears in Shippuuden the first time, because you can see how he´s changing and how strong he become. He isn´t a child anymore. I like the flash because it fits Sasuke. He´s fast strong and destructive but at the same time broken and beatutiful.

1. Which costume displayed there as prizes do you most want to get?
Umm I don´t know I think I would choose Tenten or Sakura. If I´ll win I think I know wich one I´ll choose ^^
2. Whatâs attractive to you about cosplay?
When I cosplay I can play another me also another character. I meet a lot of people and make new friends. I love it when someone likes my work because that makes me happy. Since I cosplayed I become more self-confident and that makes me proud of me.
3. Your most memorable moment while cosplay?
I have so much great memories! I never forget my first Convention. When I´ve seen all the great Cosplayers the first time I was so happy. It was such a great feeling to know that there are so much other people with the same hobby. Then on the Japaneseday in Dßsseldorf, Germany I cosplayed Sasuke. A little japanese girl looks after me and asks her mother something. Then the two came over me and the mother of the little girl askes me for a picture with her daughter. the little girl was so shy and smiles when I agreed. Because of that I must smile the whole time.
4. Are you often photographed? Since many cosplayer (especially beginners) feel nervous or unnatural while facing the lens, would you like to sharing us some experience or skills here?
At the first time someone asked me for a picture my face gets red and I feel very happy. Now lots of people want pictures of me. Then I´m posing charactertypical. That´s all ^^
5. Is there any cosplay plan you are rather interested in yet not able to do it due to some reasons? And what is your next plan?
Oh yeah I have so many cosplayplans đ For example the seal version of Sasuke and a headless Hidan version. I think they are the most difficult ones. Next plans are: Black Rock Shooter, Alois Trancy, Hayato Ichinose and Rhode Camelote. Then I have lots of Ideas about Cosplay Music Videos, some Naruto Ending and Openings and some Dancevideos.
6. Which cons do you want to participate recently? What is your favorite part about going to cons?
I want to go on conventions in different countrys. My favourite part about cons is, that I can see all the people I meet before, because the most of them live far away.
7. How do your family members think of your cosplay? Do you also feel interested and support you?
My family is kind of interesting about cosplay and like what I do. They support me and that makes me very happy.
