Talking about Sice, you must have known her well if you play the game. She is a playable character
in FinalFantasy Type-0, has myriad amount of AoE skills and uses a Scythe on the battlefield.
Now we are getting closer to the point and following is about how to make the Sice weapon
for cosplay.
Before sketching the Scythe shape on a piece of paper, work out the weapon proportion and size first.
Refering to the character profile, Sice is 166cm tall. So estimate the snath and blade length
according to your own height.When done with the above preparation work, outline the shape
(of actual size) on papers and cut. We divide the blade into 3 parts as pictured.
Then trace the paper patterns on 5mm thick EVA sheets. Cut along the line to get the EVA pattern. Here we choose black EVA because it is harder and denser than the white ones.
Replicate the pattern and bevell at the edges.
Next is to create the framework of the blade.
Build the frame with PVC tubes of 20mm and 25mm diameters as the following picture.
As you may see, there are cross point and curved parts, well, make sure the whereabouts and burn the
tube a little to bend into shape.
To achieve the edge line, shallowly slot a V-shaped channel as bellow
Complete the bevelling work for all pieces at the edge.
Then glue the two same patterns together with the framework buried in
Take care of the blade edge after gluing, if need, cut slightly again and abrade accordingly.
When done with this step, we are almost finished the main body of the blade.
For the figures on the face as it apprears in the above photo, use a knife to carve. As to the small patterns on the tube, they are made from 3mm and 5mm thick EVA sheets and
glued on. This will take you much time to work out the drawing and the cutting, be patient.
For snath, we made it detachable. The white tube of 25mm inner diameter matches the external
diameter of the gray one.
Brush a layer of propylene all over, when it gets dried, paint the scyth into black.
Last step, color all pieces into silver, and we are done pleasantly.
It needs to be mentioned that the black underpainting is necessary, without that the silver will
look superficial. And it can also cover some unwanted scratches.Assemble the pieces into a whole, it turns out like this. 
Apart from the Sice costume, more Final Fantasy cosplays such as Tifa Lockhart , Lightning
and Cloud Strife are also available.
